The Aerial Coat is designed with Australian winter in mind, adding versatility and durability into your wardrobe. The comforting weight of
the denim allows the coat structure, which carries through to the
generous lapel and collar. The unique cufflink detail at the collar allows
the coat to be fastened in multiple ways, pulling it closed across the
chest for full coverage or pinning the collar and lapel together to form a
shawl collar. The tight weave of the cloth is great for blocking out the
wind and the unlined interior allows the coat to be a trans-seasonal
staple.
The exaggerated raglan cut and curved panels of the sleeve
emphasise the coat’s rounded shape and allows for a versatile fit in the
shoulders. A hidden detail just for the wearer is the contrasting binding
within the interior of the coat on the pocket bags and seams, made
from a deadstock cotton woven into a lemongrass window check.
Designed as an accompaniment to this season’s Curve Jean, the
double top stitching is mirrored throughout the coat. This detail is also
carried through to the welt pocket, highlighting its shape on the exterior
of the coat.
Made with deadstock denim woven with rich bottle green and white
threads, this variegated cloth can translate as neutral from afar;
complimenting the existing colours in your wardrobe. Flecked with
white irregularly throughout the deep evergreen base, a detail made
noticeable up close.
